TheProperty: Real Estate Portal and Agent CRM
A property portal for Pakistan where buyers search verified listings to buy or rent, and agents run their business from a built-in CRM: listings, client requirements, dealers, bookings and cash flow in one place.
The problem
Property listings in Pakistan mostly live in WhatsApp groups and spreadsheets. Buyers cannot tell a verified listing from a fake one, and agents juggle leads, site visits and payments across five different apps.
What we built
- Public portal with city and keyword search, buy and rent modes, and advanced filters for size, bedrooms, price and property type, from plots to farm houses.
- Agent CRM with properties, customer requirements, dealers, bookings and cash flow, so a deal is tracked from the first call to closing.
- PropShop: paid boosts such as featured listings, premium badges and lead packs, paid from an in-app ad funds balance.
- Plans and quotas: every agency starts with free CRM access and a few free listings, and upgrades when it needs more.
Stack
React single-page app with Bootstrap and Leaflet maps, talking to a Node.js API behind Nginx on a Linux server. The CRM and the public portal share one backend, so a listing edited in the CRM is live on the site straight away.
What comes next
An admin panel for the platform team is in progress: agency approvals, listing moderation and platform-wide reports.
